Murum Dam is a large hydroelectric power station on the island of Kalimantan (Malaysia), part of a cascade on the Rajang River. The massive dam, 141 m high, creates a large reservoir with a volume of 12 billion m³, providing electricity generation with a capacity of 944 MW thanks to four Francis turbines. Some water is released to maintain the natural river flow. Wikipedia
